Immediate opening: we are hiring a restaurant steward in Ascension Parish, Louisiana. Ideal candidate: • Ability to carry loaded trays and stay on your feet for long shifts • Basic numeracy for handling cash, bills and change • Familiarity with POS billing and order-taking systems The role involves punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket); greet guests, seat them and present the menu; coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar; follow food hygiene and allergen-handling rules; raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments; carry loaded trays and serve plated dishes to the right table.
