Join our team: we are hiring a metal caster in Ripley County, Missouri. You will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Basic grinding and fettling skills We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits.
