Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level On a typical shift you will lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length.
