Milling machinist — Staffordshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a milling machinist in Staffordshire, England. The job is at a busy machine shop. The role involves: • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
