Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium technician in Jackson County, Iowa. The job is at a busy aluminium fabrication workshop. The role involves: • Check frames for plumb, level and square before fixing • Install glass panels and secure them with glazing beads • De-burr, clean and protect anodised or powder-coated surfaces • Drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws • Cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw Requirements: • Own basic hand tools — measuring tape, spirit level, cordless drill • Good finishing sense — no scratches, clean silicone lines • Familiar with ACP cladding and structural glazing At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
