We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Yamhill County, Oregon. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding You will select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool.
