The role involves compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting. Requirements: • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off.
