Now hiring: we are hiring a personal car driver in Cedar County, Iowa. You will work with a transport contractor. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of city roads, routes and shortcuts • Willingness to work shifts, weekends and overtime • Physically fit to load and unload goods by hand Your main tasks: • Maintain the vehicle logbook and record opening and closing mileage • Report accidents, breakdowns and vehicle damage to the supervisor • Drive within speed limits and follow all road safety rules • Plan the delivery route using GPS and live traffic updates • Deliver goods to customers and collect signatures or proof of delivery • Load and unload parcels and secure the load with straps and ropes Part-time with flexible hours.
