Reinforcement fitter wanted in Harrison County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Harrison County, Missouri. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. You will lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
