AC mechanic — Southeastern Connecticut Planning Region

Now hiring: we are hiring an AC mechanic in Southeastern Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. The role involves: • Wire the indoor-to-outdoor interconnecting cable and connect the isolator • Insulate the suction line with Armaflex nitrile sleeving • Mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines What we are looking for: • Can read electrical and piping schematics • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
