Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Texas County, Missouri. You will be based on a metro and tunnel project. The role involves de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters. You should have: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
