Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Hardee County, Florida. You will work on residential and apartment building sites. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Day to day you will carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
