Elevator repair technician — Martin County

Join our team: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Martin County, Indiana. The job is in a residential tower block. On the job you will handle: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Run load and overload tests with test weights Requirements: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Full-time with occasional weekends.
