Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry operative in Rockdale County, Georgia. The role involves: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture Ideal candidate: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
