Immediate opening: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in Hopkins County, Texas. The job is on an industrial refinery shutdown. Day to day you will install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards; inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use. Requirements: • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
