We are recruiting: we are hiring a safety inspector in Scott County, Missouri. Day to day you will run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
