Escalator technician wanted in Lamar County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an escalator technician in Lamar County, Alabama. Ideal candidate: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Day-to-day duties: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Run load and overload tests with test weights Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
