Structural MIG welder • Hamilton County, New York

We are recruiting: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Hamilton County, New York. The role involves: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
