Security guard — Isles of Scilly

Now hiring: we are hiring a security guard in Isles of Scilly, England. You will be based at a gated residential society. Day to day you will control crowds and manage queues at events and entry gates; monitor the CCTV screens in the control room; patrol the premises on foot at fixed intervals; log every visitor and vehicle in the duty register; operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door; man the entry gate and check visitor IDs and gate passes. Ideal candidate: • Valid PSARA / security guard licence • Clean police verification with no criminal record • Physically fit and able to stand for long hours Meals and transport allowance provided.
