Immediate opening: we are hiring a general labourer in Black Hawk County, Iowa. You will be based on a building construction site. You should have: • Able to lift and carry heavy loads such as 50 kg cement bags all day • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio Day to day you will set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Pay around $20 per hour, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts.
