Overlocker operator wanted in Henry County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Henry County, Iowa. The job is at a busy garment factory. Day-to-day duties: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
