Shuttering and concrete hand • Machina, Yobe State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Machina, Yobe State. The role involves: • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour What we are looking for: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
