Immediate opening: bar bender and fixer (Kansas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Sherman County, Kansas. Your main tasks: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
