We are recruiting: uPVC window fitter (Vermont)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an uPVC window fitter in Franklin County, Vermont. You will work at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. Your main tasks: • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter What we are looking for: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
