Marble cutter — McKinley County

Join our team: we are hiring a marble cutter in McKinley County, New Mexico. The job is on a residential building site. Requirements: • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Willing to work at heights for facade cladding • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish Day-to-day duties: • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish 2+ years on the tools preferred.
