Automotive paint technician — Giles County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Giles County, Virginia. You will work in an automotive paint and panel workshop. Day to day you will mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters; wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying; wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs; bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint. Requirements: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends.
