Finish carpenter • Columbia County, Washington

Great opportunity: we are hiring a finish carpenter in Columbia County, Washington. The job is in a bespoke joinery workshop. You should have: • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Your main tasks: • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
