Join our team: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Moray, Scotland. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols The role involves: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
