Air conditioning installer — York County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an air conditioning installer in York County, Maine. The job is on residential and commercial sites. On the job you will handle: • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit • Core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping • Commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow • Mount indoor and outdoor split units on wall brackets and level them • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum Requirements: • Physically fit to lift outdoor units and work in tight spaces • Confident brazing copper and running nitrogen pressure tests Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
