We are recruiting: single needle operator (Alabama)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a single needle operator in Dale County, Alabama. You will be based in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
