Restoration bricklayer • Pottawattamie County, Iowa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Pottawattamie County, Iowa. You will be based on a commercial construction site. The role involves: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
