Glass fitter wanted in Simpson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a glass fitter in Simpson County, Kentucky. You will be based at a busy glazing workshop. Day to day you will secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; work safely at height on scaffolds and ladders; handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass. You should have: • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units Rotating shifts. $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
