We are recruiting: we are hiring a banksman in Sedgwick County, Colorado. You will work at a power plant. The role involves fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. Requirements: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Six days a week, one day off.
