Now hiring: we are hiring an event security steward in Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska. The job is at a construction site. You should have: • Ex-servicemen preferred • Clean police verification with no criminal record • Physically fit and able to stand for long hours Day-to-day duties: • Check fire exits, locks, gates and seals during rounds • Man the entry gate and check visitor IDs and gate passes • Keep watch on the perimeter fence and parking area • Monitor the CCTV screens in the control room • Raise the alarm and follow the evacuation drill in an emergency We offer $16 per hour plus benefits.
