Foundry labourer • Yell County, Arkansas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Yell County, Arkansas. On a typical shift you will maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects. You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
