360 excavator operator • City of Leicester, England

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a 360 excavator operator in City of Leicester, England. Day to day you will work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains. Requirements: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
