Site safety steward • Miller County, Georgia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a site safety steward in Miller County, Georgia. The job is in a chemical processing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Six days a week, one day off.
