Vacancy available: we are hiring a plant operator in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Day-to-day duties: • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
