Punch press operator wanted in Greene County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a punch press operator in Greene County, North Carolina. You will work at an auto components factory. Day-to-day duties: • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor What we are looking for: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits.
