Gas metal arc welder wanted in City of Norfolk

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in City of Norfolk, Virginia. You will control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. Requirements: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test We offer $24 per hour plus benefits. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
