Great opportunity: we are hiring a bread baker in City of Buena Vista, Virginia. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. What we are looking for: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Day-to-day duties: • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe Rotating shifts.
