Immediate opening: we are hiring a punch press operator in Robeson County, North Carolina. You will work in a forging and pressing unit. Requirements: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading Day-to-day duties: • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed 3+ years on the tools preferred.
