Great opportunity: natural gas fitter (Illinois)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Saint Clair County, Illinois. You will be based at a heating and plumbing contractor. On the job you will handle: • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
