Stainless steel welder wanted in Chisago County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Chisago County, Minnesota. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. On a typical shift you will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
