Pipe TIG welder • Motley County, Texas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Motley County, Texas. On a typical shift you will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination 1+ years on the tools preferred.
