Requirements: • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor Day-to-day duties: • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items Part-time with flexible hours.
