What we are looking for: • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage On a typical shift you will mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour; strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates.
