Vertical milling machine operator • Lincoln County, Washington

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Lincoln County, Washington. The job is in a die and mould making unit. On a typical shift you will monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Part-time with flexible hours. $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
