Frame straightening technician — Steuben County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a frame straightening technician in Steuben County, New York. You will work at a busy body shop. On the job you will handle: • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Pull out deep dents with a slide hammer or stud welder • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting What we are looking for: • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding Full-time with occasional weekends.
