Now hiring: we are hiring an automotive electrical technician in Mono County, California. The job is at a commercial vehicle fleet depot. Ideal candidate: • Able to work under the dashboard and bonnet for long periods • Skilled with multimeter, test lamp and diagnostic scanner • ITI certificate in auto electrical or electronics, or equivalent Your main tasks: • Repair and re-tape damaged wiring looms • Read wiring diagrams and trace circuits • Replace blown fuses, relays and faulty switches • Trace and fix short circuits and earthing faults • Install alarms, immobilisers and central locking • Diagnose electrical faults using an OBD-II scanner We offer $230 per day plus benefits.
